Sardine Course
Needle Point, South Africa

From May to the end of July, sardines can be observed off the southeastern coast of South Africa. A huge school of fish merges into a single stream, which can reach 7 km in length and 1.5 km in width. Thus, sardines are sent to spawn along with the movement of cool masses of water from the Atlantic Ocean to the Indian Ocean.

Shark Beach
Bahamas, USA

Tiger Beach on Grand Bahama Island was opened in the 1980s and was initially used as a lifeguard base. It is popular with divers, as in the local waters you can see a lot of sharks: lemon, hammerhead and tiger sharks, after which the beach was named.
